Rix Rax Mounting Bracket  628-0001  $2.99    The Rix Rax under layout mounting bracket was our first plastic product. It is designed to provide you with a way to control turnouts from under the layout. The Rix Rax, Rix Rax Flat, and Ajusto Pad will work with most twin coil switch machines. The Rix P.T.L. is for cable control and the Rix Rax 2 works with the Hanks craft Display Motor.

 The Rix Uncoupling Tool is Designed to work with the Kadee® style Couplers. Place the Rix Uncoupling Tool down between the cars until the magnets rest against the rails, push one of the cars towards the other and the two magnets will cause the couplers to release.

This Rural Timber Overpass is the one produced by Accurail. We have purchased the molds from Accurail and are now producing this kit. The Rural Timber Overpass is a great addition to any layout. It represents an overpass build by most railroad to provide access to farms, homes or small town. The Rural Timber Overpass features great detail and easy assembly. Molded in polystyrene.

The Rix 30 and 40 foot Corrugated Grain Bins for HO & N scale are designed to represent the popular style of grain bins used by many farmers and companies to store many types of commodities. the Rix Grain bin is made up of 6 band segments which form a complete band. The bands are then stacked on top of one another until they reach the height you wish. Kit includes enough band segment to produce a either a 30 foot tall or 40 foot tall by 24 foot diameter grain bin with door and 30 degree peaked top. Molded in a Galvanized color. (HO shown which also includes roof vents and blower)

Rix Products is now manufacturing an N Scale Grain Elevator. This elevator represents the style of elevator used all over the country at farms and industries. The Rix N Scale Grain Elevator offers a highly detailed elevator with ladders, platforms and distribution box. The Grain Elevator can be built in 30 foot increments up to any height you wish. Color matches galvanized metal. The N Scale Grain Elevator is available separately and is also packaged as an industry called Guthrie Grain. The Guthrie Grain kit includes a 60 foot tall grain elevator, two 30 foot tall grain bins and chute tubes. Additional 30 and 40 foot grain bins are also available for Rix Products.

Built by the thousands during W.W.II, these prefab metal buildings found all sorts of postwar uses.
Kits HO and N-Scales include one 24 X 33 X 12 and features precut door and window openings.

The Rix Water and Oil Tank is designed to represent riveted steel tanks which the railroads started building back in 1880 during the steam era. Today tanks similar to these are being used to hold oil and chemicals. The Rix Water and Oil Tank is made up of 6 band segments which form a complete band. The bands are then stacked one on top of another until they reach the given height. Kits include enough band segment to produce either a 29, 43 or 60 foot tall by 24 foot diameter tank. Two styles of tops are offered, flat top or a peaked top. All tanks are molded in a black polystyrene.

Rix Ingot Buggies and Molds

Model the interior operations of a steel mill or foundry complex with these ingot buggies and molds. All of the kits are HO scale and feature injection molded parts. Ingot Buggies: These small two axle cars carry ingot molds inside a steel mill. Kits includes (3) buggies, draw bars and wheel sets. Kadee or Horn hook couplers can be used. Ingot Molds: The large molds are used to transport molten steel within a mill complex. They can also be loaded aboard gondolas to carry molten steel from a furnace to another facility.
Kit includes three buggies and molds.
