GUNDERSON "HUSKY-STACK" DOUBLE STACK CONTAINER CAR (HO Scale)

• One of the latest additions to double stack technology was brought to the railroad industry by Gunderson, Inc.  These cars were developed as either stand alone single units (with a set of wheels and coupler on each end) or as three unit sets with solid draw bars between the center and end units to accommodate unusually heavy double stack container loads. With the additional wheel sets on the Husky Stack (as opposed to conventional, articulated double stack cars) additional capacity and braking ability permits heavier loads than with an articulated car. The Husky Stack is perfect for model railroading with it's contemporary appearance, relatively small size (53 scale feet long/48' well) and low center of gravity.

• These quality cars are now available ready-to-run!  They come completely assembled with metal wheel sets and KD #5® couplers installed.  They are available initially in 3-Packs in two different road names with three car numbers in each road name.
