Boston Depot kit features

Boston Depot
kit features:
Board and
batten combination depot based on a Missouri Pacific prototype that stood in
Boston, Missouri, just north of Carthage on the White River Line. Long since
abandoned from active railroad service, this depot was moved in late 2005
from a farm field to Carona, Kansas and is undergoing a complete
restoration. This style of depot was also used on the Katy and other
railroads. The ornate trim is a very close copy of the trim used on C&O
depots. At 16' wide x 40' long this is a small size wood combination
passenger and freight station that would fit nearly any size layout.
Kit features laser-cut floor, sub-roof, window glazing, ornate
eave and verge trim, interior and exterior walls with tab and slot
connections. Includes laser-cut peel-n-stick doors, windows and trim.
Windows may built in the open or closed position. HO shingles consist of our
new hexagonal design laser cut on a peel-n-stick sheet with guidelines
etched right on the sub-roof for easy application. The N scale shingles
feature the hex shingle pattern engraved onto an adhesive backed sheet of
plywood. Also includes signs and cast metal chimney.
N scale kit dimensions: (structure footprint) 3.00" x 1.43"
HO scale kit dimensions: (structure footprint) 5.50" x 2.63"
