The new
"Low" containers are here! They are a little
lower than the current boxes allowing the modeler to
carry 5 boxes instead of 4 in the nylon carrying case.
They will hold the average height freight cars and
locomotives. Excess height cars (auto racks, Amtrak
Superliner cars, etc) will not fit. These low side
containers utilize space more efficiently for N Scale
equipment and HO vehicles. The length and number of
individual storage slots remains the same. These cases
are excellent for carrying long unit trains (grain,
cement, intermodal cars and up to 48 coal cars) and the
engines to pull them.
